Local Commercial Docks and Marinas
The Potomac River has a channel depth ranging from 27 to 80 feet and the Rappahannock River has a channel depth of 12 to 15 feet. Several private commercial docks are located in the county as well as numerous marinas and boat landings for pleasure craft.
