Building Inspector

Westmoreland County is seeking applicants for a building inspector position. The employee will perform difficult technical and responsible administrative work in conducting field inspections and reviewing building plans and construction for compliance with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code. The position will work under the general supervision of the Building Official. The salary range is $38,232 - $63,007 with a generous benefits package. The position requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to considerable experience in building inspections or general construction and graduation from high school or an accredited community college or university.
