Virginia Cooperative Extension in Westmoreland and Richmond Counties will be hiring a paid intern for the 2024 summer. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a four-year accredited college or university in a course of study relevant to the mission of Extension (agriculture, education, etc…). The intern will work closely with the Westmoreland Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent and the Westmoreland/Richmond County 4-H Extension Agent on projects like corn and soybean variety trials, 4-H camp, monitoring insect populations in sweet corn and organizing 4-H learning opportunities for youth and volunteers.
