Effective 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2024, the County of Westmoreland has rescinded the ban on open burning that has been in effect since October 29, 2024.
Citizens are asked to resume their routine burning activities with care to reduce the possibility of an uncontrolled spreading of fire.
